One Room Challenge Week 3: Master Bedroom Makeover Inspiration

Week 3 of the One Room Challenge was a little slow for us. We were waiting on deliveries to arrive for our moldings and doors! I also had ordered some draperies to choose from. Because I don’t have anything to show of our progress in the space, I figured this would be a good opportunity to review some inspiration!

I stumbled upon this photo on Pinterest and am unsure who to give credit to as the link was blocked. I love this woven bench. I found one very similar to this for our room on Wayfair. We will be refinishing the frame of it for this project to knock out the red hue that stain currently has.

I also love the bed frame in this space. We unfortunately don’t have the budget to switch out our bed frame yet. When we do, I will be looking for something clean and simple like this one. The thick, upholstered foot board offers a nice, soft backdrop to the woven bench.

There are many things I love about this bedroom by Amber Interiors. The patterns of the pillows on the bed blend incredibly well together, but still make a nice statement. The white walls make this space bright and open. I love, again, the woven bench and the pom pom throw blanket.

I need to start considering what pillows and bedding I will be using for my space. I may be sewing them myself, but will definitely need time to do so!

I love the picture moldings on the wall in this space by Alice Lane Interiors. I brought this photo up in last weeks post. The picture moldings add a sense of texture to the wall. I also love this color, but have decided to go with white for our space as it is a small room I am working with. I will be saving this color in my back pocket though for future use!

Another photo I have stumbled upon on Pinterest that I can’t find credit for. These Drapes really make a statement. I love the green! I have found some spectacular green drapes from Crate & Barrel that I think may work really well for my space. I also purchased a few other options though to see what will be best fit once our walls are painted.

I can’t wait to continue to pull our master bedroom together. It will be such a relief when finished! All of the featured designers and guest participants are making incredible progress with their spaces. Be sure to check them out on the One Room Challenge Blog, and come back next Thursday to see our progress!
